DESCRIPTION:Moray Art Centre welcomed hand weaver\, Lynne Hocking for her
  moving exhibition ‘Ancestral Interconncetions’ in May 2023.\n\nThis t
 extile weaving exhibition explored family connections to the weaving trade
  in Angus through the last seven generations of Lynne’s family who were 
 handloom weavers\, factory weavers\, yarn minders and mill wrights in Forf
 ar and Kirriemuir.\n\n​\n\nLynne produced a series of unique woven struc
 tures which promote discussion about concepts related to place\, the value
  of heritage and contemporary crafts.
