SUMMARY:Beginners Watercolours
DESCRIPTION:A workshop designed for the beginner watercolour artist.\nToget
 her we’ll spend our time learning about the basics of watercolour painti
 ng\, the different types of paper\, brushes\, and colour palettes. Get rea
 dy to explore the magic of water and pigments!\n\n 	\nColour mixing techni
 ques: understand how to mix and blend colours effectively. We’ll explore
  how to create colours.\n\n 	\nLearn how to apply watercolor to achieve vi
 brancy\, depth and dimension. We’ll practice the different techniques eg
  wet-on-wet and to learn how to apply them for best results.\n\n 	\nLearn 
 the finer techniques to adjust colors and add any final details to your pa
 inting. Together we’ll explore tonal value and the importance in your wa
 tercolors. Sheree will provide personalized guidance through the day.\n\n\
 nJoin us for a creative gathering with like-minded individuals\, where you
  can nourish your soul.\n\n 	\nMaterials included\n\n 	\nLight refreshment
 s provided but please bring along a packed lunch\n\n\nAbout your tutor\nSh
 eree Young\, an internationally recognized contemporary watercolor artist\
 , has made her mark in the art world through her expressive and experiment
 al approach.\nOriginally from the Eastern Cape\, South Africa\, she now re
 sides in the Highlands of Scotland. Her artistic journey has been shaped b
 y her diverse experiences and cultural influences. She draws inspiration f
 rom the natural beauty of both regions.\nOne of Sheree’s notable achieve
 ments is her participation in the prestigious FabrianoinAcquarello\, the 
 largest watercolor event worldwide. Representing both Scotland and South A
 frica\, she showcased her talent alongside other accomplished watercolor a
 rtists.  In addition\, Sheree was selected to exhibit at the Highland Ar
 t Prize Exhibition in Glasgow.
