DESCRIPTION:Learn how to paint coastal flowers in a modern painterly style 
 with Lucy. You will witness demonstrations and receive guidance on how to 
 paint a value scale\, basic watercolour techniques and brush-holds. You wi
 ll practice how to paint the leaves\, stems\, petals\, stamens of pretty f
 lowers such as Beach roses and seaside daisies in a friendly and relaxed a
 tmosphere! We will also delve into composition and enjoy painting an expre
 ssive unique coastal floral piece. \n‘Find me where the wild flowers gr
 ow’ \n\n 	\nMaterials included\n\n 	\nFor both beginners and intermedia
 te artists.\n\n 	\nLight refreshments provided but please bring along a pa
 cked lunch\n\n\n\nAbout your tutor\n"I'm Lucy\, a creative based in Moray 
 and I have a life long passion for Art and Design and a degree in Textile 
 Design (BA Hons Textile Design\, Nottingham Trent University)  \nMore rec
 ently\, I had the opportunity to really focus in on my passion for Waterco
 lour painting.  \nI refreshed my skills via classes online and joined ar
 tists communities. I developed a daily Watercolour practice and found it s
 o satisfying to paint both floral pieces and landscapes/seascapes. My work
  began to flourish\, and I began selling my work locally.  \nI started s
 haring my knowledge by leading a couple of workshops in my local area and 
 I found I love to share what I’ve learned! \nI’ve now led several flo
 ral Watercolour workshops with Moray Art Centre. I focus particularly on t
 eaching basic watercolour techniques\, so learners can thrive in their cre
 ative work\, relax and create with ease\; 'Watercolour should bring joy\, 
 not stress' is my motto! However\, more advance artists are very welcome a
 nd will also benefit from knowledge shared."
