DESCRIPTION:Moray Art Centre is taking part in the North East Open Studios 
 trail this year!\nWe will be hosting the following artists:\nAnita Inverar
 ity\n"My art is inspired by nature\, magic and mythology. I use pen and pe
 ncil mediums to create intricate narratives to engage the viewer." This sh
 ow will run alongside Anita's solo show "Secrets of the Stones" which is a
 lso taking place in the gallery space at Moray Art Centre. \nAnita Invera
 rity is a Scottish artist born in Aberdeen and currently living in rural B
 anffshire near the coast and forest where she draws a lot of her inspirati
 on. Working in pen mediums Anita is interested in intricate detail and pat
 tern with nouveau twists and folk art aesthestics. Her art language is oft
 en steeped in mythology and ancient lore with underpinning stories of tran
 sformation. Anita exhibits her work both locally and internationally and h
 as been shown in juried exhibits in the National Gallieries and Museums of
  Scotland on several occasions. Commercial works and collaborations have i
 ncluded everything from Album Covers to a Catwalk Collection with celebrat
 ed Australian fashion designers Zimmermann. Current and ongoing projects i
 nclude art and inspirational writing in Tarot and Oracle Decks with publis
 hers US Games\, Blue Angel and Animal Dreaming. Releases include Universal
  Folk Oracle and Universal Folk Tarot to date.\nJaqueline Sewell\n"Followi
 ng a very successful NEOS last year\, I am delighted to be back in 2024\, 
 sharing a space with Lois Dubber. There are colourful oil\, acrylic and wa
 tercolour originals and prints of landscapes\, seascapes and abstracts in 
 different sizes at affordable prices. We look forward to welcoming interes
 ted parties and demonstrating the creative process."\nSelf-Taught Artist w
 orking in Oils\, Acrylics and Watercolours depicting Landscapes\, Seascape
 s\, Abstracts from my love of nature\, travel and the rich tapestry of col
 our that is the world we live in. I took up painting during lockdown and h
 ave been experimenting with different types of art\, conventional\, digita
 l and whatever takes my creative process to new and exciting heights. In t
 he four years I have been painting and creating\, I have built a substanti
 al portfolio\, created a website and opened my online shop at jacsart.com.
  Interest in my work is growing steadily and sales are good. It is not for
  profit that I paint\, I love the creative process and I want to share tha
 t enthusiasm with interested parties. It will be lovely to see you at the 
 beautiful venue that is Moray Art Centre\, so come and have a browse and c
 hat it will be lovely to welcome you.\nLois Dubber\n"Lois's Art is a colou
 rful collection of acrylic paintings\, with a dabble into oils. Inspired b
 y the beaches\, farmlands and villages on the Moray coast and farther. Thi
 s year's challenges have been portrait and animals making the collection f
 un to view."\nLois Dubber is a Self taught artist residing in Hopeman Mora
 y. After spending 11 years in Vancouver Canada\, she settled back in the v
 illage she grew up in and was inspired by the beaches and countryside of S
 cotland. Her artistic endeavors began as a beauty therapist painting faces
  and miniatures on nails. Lois swapped aesthetics for canvases when essent
 ial tremor limited her abilities to miniaturise scenes.\nHow to find us: W

 rst roundabout turn right and the building facing you at the end is Moray
