Learn how to paint watercolour Tulips in a loose organic style!
You will witness demonstrations and receive guidance on how to paint a value scale, basic watercolour techniques such as wet-in-wet and essential brush-holds. You will practice how to paint the leaves, stems and petals of these spring flowers and enjoy the mesmerising qualities of the luxurious watercolour medium.
ABOUT YOUR TUTOR
I’m Lucy, a creative based in Moray and I have a life long passion for art and design and a degree in textile design (BA Hons Textile Design, Nottingham Trent University). More recently, I had the opportunity to really focus in on my passion for watercolour painting. I refreshed my skills via classes online and joined artists communities. I developed a daily watercolour practice and found it so satisfying to paint both floral pieces and landscapes/seascapes. My work began to flourish, and I began selling my work locally. I started sharing my knowledge by leading a couple of workshops in my local area and I found I love to share what I’ve learned!
