Paint what you love and learn how to do it well!
In this summer school, you, the young people are invited to bring along some of your own image ideas, examples of art you like and wish to try as well as favourite objects or photographs you’d like to make paintings of. If you don’t have any ideas, we’ll provide some!
We will then learn together how to create good drawings and paintings. We will focus on drawing techniques, colour mixing, fun ways of applying the paint and on how to achieve different tonal values and create the illusion of three-dimensional form.
At the end of the week we will have a mini exhibition of everyone’s drawings and paintings in the classroom.
All materials and lunch provided – all levels of expertise welcome!
