Claire Linney

CLAIRE LINNEY

Claire Linney is an accomplished Art Educator with over 18 years of experience teaching Art & Design in secondary schools, predominantly in leadership roles such as Head of Department and Head of Faculty.

She studied Fine Art at Bournemouth University, specialising in painting, before completing her PGCE at Oxford Brookes University. Claire later achieved an MA in Fine Art & Education, further deepening her expertise in both artistic practice and education.

In addition to her extensive school-based experience, Claire has a strong background in teaching art to adults and is dedicated to delivering engaging, accessible, and inspiring learning experiences. As a self-employed visual artist, she regularly exhibits her original work in local galleries across Moray. Inspired by the Scottish landscape, she also designs and leads creative art workshops for a wide range of community groups.
