Introduction to Creative Illustration with Keith Barker 9:30 – 1:30 Materials included An introduction to Creative Illustration. Spontaneous creativity, creating stories with images or images for stories. This is a 4-hour taster course using various tools and techniques, learning new skills, and improving existing experience. Who is this course for? Anyone who has ever had an interest in illustration. No previous experience is needed. About Keith: Keith Barker is a designer/maker and author from Bath in England. Barker’s professional work experience includes photography and boat building, but he is best known for his furniture designs manufactured in Japan. He studied Woodblock printmaking with Clifton Karhu in Kyoto. His work within the visual arts includes Graphic & Photographic illustration & design. Portraiture, Logos etc. and recently he published two children’s books. PLEASE NOTE: All of our workshops require a minimum number of participants for them to run. Workshops may need to be canceled or postponed if numbers are not met.
