Join Georgia for 8 weeks to develop a body of landscape inspired prints and paintings!

The course will begin at 10:00 in the big MAC studio, with a presentation about Georgia’s research as a landscape painter. The presentation will also show a range of paintings by contemporary and historical painters, who successfully capture the essence of landscapes and who engage with exciting Mono-Printing techniques.
Practical demonstrations of both mono-printing and painting will be given, to help guide you to experiment with new techniques. Each week will begin with a quick, expressive, task to get you straight into a creative mindset.
The focus in the studio will be developing monoprints, experimenting with various methods and trialing water-based and oil-based inks. This may include Ink, Acrylic or Oil paint. Often outcomes are much more exciting because mono-printing and painting have been used in unison- the two mediums work beautifully together.
Throughout the course you will be supported to develop your ideas into a body of work with a conclusion.
This course is suitable for everyone – from complete beginners to advanced practitioners.
There is a 2 week break on the 7th and 14th, where there will be no class. Class will resume on Tuesday 21st and will end on the 28th.
If you can’t attend all sessions but would like to attend some, please speak to Georgia, or email us on [email protected]. Individual sessions are priced at £30 each.
