Floral Watercolour Weekend

This relaxed two-day morning workshop explores expressive floral watercolour through colour, texture, layering, and intuitive mark-making.

Day 1-The first session focuses on seasonal marigolds, encouraging confidence and creative flow through warm colour exploration, a value scale, basic brush work and loose painterly techniques such as wet-in-wet to create petals, leaves and stems.

Day 2-The second session explores irises and violets through expressive colour, a value scale, basic brush work,  wet-in-wet petals, leaves, stems and intuitive painting. 

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR 

Lucy is Moray-based watercolour artist + tutor. She runs seasonal painting workshops rooted in nature, observation, expressive painting techniques and creativity—welcoming beginners & returning artists alike to explore watercolour and develop their own creative style in a calm and supportive environment.
