More about Allan Davies:
Allan, a distinguished artist, graduated with First Class Honors in Fine Art from the University of Dundee in 2013. Following a Master’s course, he earned an MFA with Distinction in Art and Humanities in 2015. Focusing on figurative painting, Allan explores the interplay between scale, composition, colour, and negative space. His work communicates veiled emotions with unconventional elements, emphasizing ‘presence’ over traditional portraiture.
Allan is actively engaged by DJCAD to teach figurative painting to fine art undergraduates. He finds this role not only challenging but also immensely rewarding and enjoyable.
