The Floral Immersion Weekend

Whether you’re seeking to nurture your watercolour practice, learn new floral techniques, or simply enjoy one or two days of creativity in a warm, welcoming space — this weekend is for you.

Day One — Saturday 13th September at 10:30am – 4:30pm

Coastal Blooms: Full-Day Watercolour Workshop Spend the day immersed in the beauty of wild coastal flowers. Learn how to capture Beach Roses, Beach Asters, and other seaside blooms in a modern, painterly style. You’ll be guided through:

• Value scales for depth and light

• Essential brush-holds and expressive mark-making

• Painting leaves, stems, petals, and stamens with confidence

• Composition techniques for fresh, modern floral work

Day Two — Sunday 14th September at 1:30pm – 4:30pm

The Signature Rose — Hand-Painted Card Workshop A light, social afternoon of roses, conversation, and hand-painted keepsakes. You’ll learn to paint a signature rose in watercolour, mix colours for soft petals, and frame your bloom with elegant leaves. Finish by transforming your painting into a beautiful greeting card to keep or gift.

ABOUT YOUR TUTOR

I’m Lucy, a creative based in Moray and I have a life long passion for art and design and a degree in textile design (BA Hons Textile Design, Nottingham Trent University). More recently, I had the opportunity to really focus in on my passion for watercolour painting. I refreshed my skills via classes online and joined artists communities. I developed a daily watercolour practice and found it so satisfying to paint both floral pieces and landscapes/seascapes. My work began to flourish, and I began selling my work locally. I started sharing my knowledge by leading a couple of workshops in my local area and I found I love to share what I’ve learned!
