Moray Art Centre welcomes back Bibo and Brian Keeley in their upcoming exhibition The Shared Heart (12 Years).

The Shared Heart (12 Years) is an on-going body of autobiographical artwork by Bibo & Brian Keeley which has been evolving since Brian’s heart transplant in 2013. The artists’ deeply personal work reflects on memory, survival, the fragility of life, and the transformative realities of heart transplantation. Their collaborative work in sculpture, installation, and film, explores the physical and emotional challenges, and the medical complexities, of a post-transplant life, which co-exist with Bibo & Brian’s appreciation for their continued shared life.
There will be an opening event on November 2nd at 2-4pm – all welcome!
If you have any symptoms of contagious infection (e.g. cold, flu, Covid etc.) we would kindly ask you to refrain from attending this event as a courtesy to other people present who are clinically extremely vulnerable.

Bibo Keeley
“As a multi-disciplinary artist I create sculpture, film, performance, sound (inc. improvised singing), photography, and combinations of these.
My inspiration comes from life itself: autobiographical themes, trauma, my love for nature, ecological concerns, and the experience of exploring materials and creating new artwork.”
