JONATHAN SHEARER

Jonathan is a professional plein air painter based north of Inverness where he focuses on the landscape of the highlands. Jonathan, a graduate of Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, holds a BA (Hons) in painting and drawing. His accolades include the Sir Robin Phillipson Memorial Medal for painting and the John Kinross Scholarship to Florence.

He has completed residencies at Cornhill Hospital, Aberdeen, and Fundacion Valparaiso, Almeria, Spain. Settled in the Highlands, Jonathan’s artistic journey includes a solo exhibition in London and being shortlisted for the Jolomo Landscape Award.
