Moray Art Centre is taking part in the North East Open Studios trail this year!
We will be hosting the following artists:

“My art is inspired by nature, magic and mythology. I use pen and pencil mediums to create intricate narratives to engage the viewer.” This show will run alongside Anita’s solo show “Secrets of the Stones” which is also taking place in the gallery space at Moray Art Centre.
Anita Inverarity is a Scottish artist born in Aberdeen and currently living in rural Banffshire near the coast and forest where she draws a lot of her inspiration. Her art language is often steeped in mythology and ancient lore with underpinning stories of transformation. Anita exhibits her work both locally and internationally and has been shown in juried exhibits in the National Gallieries and Museums of Scotland on several occasions. Lois Dubber
“Lois’s Art is a colourful collection of acrylic paintings, with a dabble into oils. Inspired by the beaches, farmlands and villages on the Moray coast and farther. This year’s challenges have been portrait and animals making the collection fun to view.”
Lois Dubber is a Self taught artist residing in Hopeman Moray. After spending 11 years in Vancouver Canada, she settled back in the village she grew up in and was inspired by the beaches and countryside of Scotland. Her artistic endeavors began as a beauty therapist painting faces and miniatures on nails. Lois swapped aesthetics for canvases when essential tremor limited her abilities to miniaturise scenes.
